Course Detail
Theoretical topics you may look at situations such as how to handle your caravan in the slipstream of a passing coach or lorry. This isn't something that we can reproduce at the site but we can prepare you so that when it does happen - and it will! - you should be able to remain in complete control of the situation.

And then there are matters such as how to load your caravan safely so that it is properly balanced for stability, and how to check that the electrics and brakes are working correctly.

By the end of the day there should be nothing you are not familiar with or prepared for. You may be inexperienced but our instructors are not, and by spending half a day with them you will gain skills and knowledge that would otherwise have taken years during which you would not have been as safe as you will be by the time you leave us.

We will provide a caravan for training purposes but we do ask that you bring your own vehicle because we feel it is better if you are already familiar with the controls before we begin teaching you towing technique
